  • Germany has a militia, not a military. A militia a German citizen is required to be in, according to foriegn exchange students going back to serve. After WWII them and Japan was punished and not allowed to form a military. History 101. That is why the US has our military there, to protect them.

  • I agree with trut hurts, To add I think you should have to take a test on how government is supposed to work according to the Constitution to get to even vote. That would weed out some people to lazy to learn the info.

  • Taxes aren't just on profits for anyones info. If you are not a businessman I wouldn't expect you to understand. But other taxes are unemployment taxes, surcharge taxes on imports, exports, etc. It is like income taxes, sales taxes, and coming soon healthcare tax.

  • LVbabe you are mental, the only people not paying taxes are Dems. How many Obama appointies had to file back taxes? All but 8 was the number and one of those is a conservative. EXXon Mobil when they were making Billions was giving roughly 2/3 of there profits to the government in taxes.

  • The whole point of the article for the politically challenged is to make you feel relieved when the Repuplican taxes do end in 2010 which is the taxes you pay in 2011. A kind of i told you so thing. Of course Obama and his cronies did vote aginst these cuts.
